Greetings. My name is Dan Smith.
It's lovely to meet you.
I was born in Dumfries, Scotland. I started off my working career working in a fish processing plant with Grammy Winning superstar producer and DJ Calvin Harris and everything steadily digressed from there.
I learned a thing or two studying Visual Communication at Middlesex University, London and Art Direction at Hyper Island, Stockholm.
From there I went on to gain 15 or so years of experience within design and advertising, working and producing award winning work at Naked London, Mother London, Leo Burnett London, Mother New York, Night Agency and most recently at Heat NYC.
My modus operandi involves finding the strong concept and narrative possible, one that can really suck an audience in and then wrapping it up a beautiful bow with the craft of design.
